Compact Coriolis flow solution receives NTEP custody transfer approval

  • SITRANS FCS200 flow sensor is designed for compressed natural gas

  • Is one of the most compact Coriolis flow solutions available today

During the 2015 Automation Summit, Siemens Process Industries & Drives announced the certification of its highly advanced Coriolis flow measurement solution, the SITRANS FCS200, with custody transfer approval by the National Conference on Weights and Measure (NTEP).

The SITRANS FCS200 Coriolis flow sensor for compressed natural gas (CNG) applications is available in tube sizes of 3/8”, 1/2” and 1” with NTEP Custody Transfer (CT) approval for the 3/8” and 1/2” tube sizes.

The SITRANS FCS200 is one of the most compact Coriolis flow solutions on the market today, enabling the sensor to fit in locations where space is crucial, providing extra flexibility in CNG application - both new and retrofit.  Innovative, user-friendly support tools provide direct access to operational and functional data. With unparalleled accuracy and capacity under high pressure and hazardous conditions, the SITRANS FCS200 sensor sets a new standard for efficiency and safety in CNG custody transfer measurement.

The Automation Summit, taking place through Thursday June 25 at Aria Resort in Las Vegas, Nev., provides engineering and operational professionals, automation and operations management and senior-level executives with end-user learning opportunities covering the complete spectrum of automation--from process and discrete to motion control and drives.
