On Monday, March 27th, from its U.S. R&D hub, Siemens, the global technology powerhouse, will showcase its technology expertise in software, digital services and cloud platforms that are enhancing its unique position for the Internet of Things. 

As the company’s largest market, the U.S. will play an important role, utilizing its digital enterprise and innovative technologies to serve Siemens’ U.S. customer base.  In the last 15 years, Siemens has invested $35 billion in the U.S. and is home to more than 60 manufacturing sites and approximately 50,000 employees. Annually, the company invests more than $1 billion in R&D, holds 15,000 U.S. patents and nearly 900 invention disclosures. With more than $10 billion in investments in software companies since 2007, Siemens has made a significant push into the software space with acquisitions including: UGS, LMS, Camstar, Polarion, CD-Adapco and most recently, Mentor Graphics.

Global and U.S. leaders will be on-site, offering a rare, behind-the-scenes opportunity to learn more about emerging tech topics and trends through demonstrations and dialogue around: blockchain-based micgrogrids, additive manufacturing, autonomous robots, intelligent infrastructure (mobility and smart buildings).
