Since Joe Kaeser became CEO last year, Siemens has invested over $11 billion in the U.S. – out of about $65 billion in total German investments in America in 2014. We’ve announced the acquisitions of Dresser-Rand and the Rolls-Royce Energy aero-derivative gas turbine and compressor business. And we’ve moved the company’s global energy headquarters to Houston, led by Lisa Davis – our first US-based managing board member.
That’s the context in which Joe recently delivered remarks in Washington at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he focused on the global energy landscape.
