    Last week, I had the pleasure of joining Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Stand Up To Cancer® co-Founder Kathleen Lobb and local business leaders to launch the Central Florida leg of a campaign tour called “The Baton Pass™” that raises funds for Stand Up To Cancer® (SU2C), a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, to support its innovative cancer research, designed to get new therapies to patients quickly.  more...

    Today I had the privilege of joining our dedicated partners at Amtrak, America’s passenger rail operator, for a momentous occasion at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia.  Vice President Joe Biden and U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx helped welcome the first of 70, Siemens-built locomotives for Amtrak.  As the new workhorse of the heavily-traveled northeast corridor, the Amtrak Cities Sprinter will enter into passenger service tomorrow.more...
